-Cell phone usage
-Putting on makeup
-Reaching for an object in the car
-Looking at something outside of the vehicle for a long period of time.
The best form of driving is having you rfull attention on the road. Using your cell phone or even changing the radio stations on the car takes away your attention off the road. Statistically speaking talking on the phone is 1.3 times more likely to cause an accident. Texting while driving increase to 2.8 times more likely to cause an accident. New Car models have implement Bluetooth to help drivers drive more carefully however law makers do not see much of a change and have wanted to band use of phones all together.
Eating is another distracted driving issue. When someone eats while driving both their hands and eyes are off the road and because of that a driver will want to keep both hands on the wheel and if they do so food could fall on them and/or will have a high chance of dropping food everywhere distracting a driver which in turns may cause an accident.
Putting on makeup while driving is a big NO NO. The reason being you have to concentrate putting it on and have no concentration on the road. It is not a wise decision. It is best to wait till you get to the spot you need to go, arrive, and then put it on.
Reaching for an object in the car while you are driving should not be done. Even if your eyes are off the road for a second, it can cause an accident.
Looking at something outside the vehicle can also cause it an accident. Examples would be looking at an accident that happen or something injured or trash on the road. It is best to glance and keep moving. You do not want to be the next accident.
